Proposed Plans for Harris Road Park and Pitt Meadows Athletic Park

The City of Pitt Meadows is developing a new master plan for Harris Road Park. The intent is to re-imagine the park as a community park dedicated to passive recreation, social gatherings, and public events. The plan proposes to retain some existing features of the park and introduce new elements to enhance its character and function. This plan is intended to ensure Harris Road Park continues to serve as a vibrant park space for the community.

The City of Pitt Meadows is developing an expansion plan for Pitt Meadows Athletic Park. The expansion plan is spurred by the City’s recent acquisition of the Amenity Lands site, an eight-acre parcel of land adjacent to the existing park. The expansion plan proposes to introduce new sports and support facilities to the site as well as integrate this area into the existing park. The plan is intended to ensure the expanded Pitt Meadows Athletic Park continues to meet the active recreational needs of the community.
